Orbi AP
Arris modem (NBN Australia).
All have current firmware (have been seeing this problem for a while).
Modem -> main RBR750 -> Netgear 16-port 1 GB switch -> Ethernet behind the walls -> Satellites. 41 total devices on internal network.

Thanks for the information. The most recent firmware for the 75 product is v7.2.6.21
(The Orbi Firmware Update function does not always recognize the most current firmware version. a topic which has been discussed many times on the forum.)
The reason for asking about the distance between Orbi units is because the device that is in motion is supposed to use IEEE 802.11r to recognize that changing to a different access point is appropriate:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11r-2008
Normally, one expects that the device will notice that the signal strength of the current access point is falling and that a different access point has a better connection. If these access points are too far apart, there may be a problem with this mechanism.

Huh - router is showing current firmware is V4.6.14.3 - and no new update.
I can see from : https://www.netgear.com/support/download/?model=RBR750&_ga=2.180579236.2005904760.1709898972-1795113772.1709898972 that V7.2.6.21.
Sounds like I have a project for the weekend.
Distance between router and satellites are basically 15 meters and 1 floor up for each.

Actually, already updated the router and satellites. I'll monitor for behaviour and report back.
