Orbi AX4200 RBS750 satellite will only get 100Mbps on wired backhaul
Recently I rearranged my home network to wire in some devices and to add an ethernet backhaul. However, I am unable to get speeds above 100 Mbps from the satellite with ethernet backhaul. Details...

Sorry I missed this last reply.
I do understand all of the possible failure points with the cables and interfaces, however, the same cables and interfaces all provide full 1000Mbps when the satellite is removed from the setup.
I'm going to reach out to Netgear to try and get a replacement.

100MB is such a specific number that it almost always is caused by a failure of the Ethernet links to auto-negotiate a faster speed.
Satellites are portable. I would spend 10 minutes relocating the satellite to be in the same room as the router and using a couple of different Ethernet patch cords to connect it directly to the router. No switches. No patch panels. No wall jacks. etc. etc.
The router web browser Advanced tab home page box "Show Statistics" page will display the speed that has been negotiated. If two different cables give the same 100MB/Full result, then either the router or the satellite LAN port is bad.

I have tested the satellite with known working cat6 or cat5e cables with the same result. Sometimes the stats say 100Mbps, other times 1000Mbps; still, in either case, I only get <100Mbps. That said, now that there is new firmware, I will update and then try this one more time before trying to initiate a return.
