Is the internet outage just wireless or does it also affect wired devices? Knowing this may help isolate which workarounds to try.
Do you know if you have Double NAT (i.e., your Arris also a router)? If the https://canyouseeme.org/ IP address is different from what orbilogin.com Advanced displays as your Internet Port IP address then you do have Double NAT and might try using the Orbi in Access Point mode instead of Router mode.
Besides the other suggestions, I also recommend setting CTS/RTS Threshold to 2347 to improve Orbi AX wireless compatibility with older devices. However, I think this only affects the SSID being visible at all to a particular device and would not explain the SSID appearing and then later disappearing.

The Ethernet continues to work. I have placed the Arris router in “pass through mode” but it will be double NAT. My TV (U-verse) comes through the Arris router so it still has to do things for the AT&T cable boxes. Threshold is already 2347.

You may want to configure AP mode on the RBR and see if this changes anything as last resort.
Let us know if disabling AX mode and changing the CTS values helps for now,.
- gobblegobbleJul 29, 2020AspirantDoesn’t disabling of AX mode negate the features of this router? Or should I not notice a difference?

Just as a troubleshooting step is all. You can re-enable it after testing.
If nothing seems to change the behavior of the system and the SSID keeps disappearing, I would make contact with NG support and ask about an RMA, you may just have a faulty unit is all.
