Orbi connected but no internet
I recently purchased an Orbi AX 4200 RBK 752 router. It has one satelittle. During setup I can go thru the hole process but when it gets to the end it will not check for new firmare because it is not...

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.

Try option #3...
I tried that with no success. One of the tech support people had me do that.
So is the RBR connected at the modem or at the TPLink router?
For AP mode, the RBR should be connected at the modem with built in router I believe...
Be sure the RBR is connected with the LAN cable on it's YELLOW Internet port in back.
Possible there is a configuration issue between the RBR and your modem or your other router. The TP-Link should not be needed.
TP Link is completely removed from the system. I bought the Orbi to replace the TP. It is def connected with a Lan cable in the yellow port.
