ORBI internet issue
Righto, so paid over a thousand dollars for the ORBI 6 thing this afternoon. 7 hours later it is still not connecting to the internet. I have a Netgear D6220 modem router that is set to modem/router ...
so if you have the orbi connected to another router (D6220) its a double nat.
It can cause issues.
Fixes?
I'd either put the orbi's IP address into the D6220's DMZ or I'd put the orbi in access point mode.
The D6220 should have a modem only mode though. That would be the preferred setup.
Did you try that?
There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.
Its a great resource to start with.
