Orbi Mesh and AT&T Filber
I currently have the Orbi Quad Brand WiFi 6E Mesh system (RBKE963) and a total of 4 satellites. I have 4 satellites because my house is old with plaster walls with chicken wire like backing. I am also trying to send my single out to devices at my driveway gate and also to a garage apartment.
I currently have XFINITY but am looking at AT&T Fiber for which I can get more speed for less of a price. I have a lot of cameras and other devices connected and also work from home on regular basis. Also doing TV Streaming.
AT&T uses the BGW 320 Router and I am wondering there are any issues with turning off its WiFi and doing passthrough so that I can continue to use the Orbi system. I had had AT&T Fiber in the past with their providers extenders but they did nothing to help with creating a strong network.
I am getting ready to pull the trigger but would like to hear any opinions, issues etc.
Thanks
David

That would be recommended for ISP modems or ONTs with built in routers. Disable the wifi radios on it and use the DMZ or IP Pass thru feature for the downstream Orbi router in router mode.
