If you had 2 satellites, it'd have been the RBK753. The K means basically its a kit. the last number is the total number of satellites and router.
I have my Verizon gateway-----Verizon likes to use modem/router combo devices. It causes a double nat and can cause some issues. in my office and that is hard wired to the Orbi router. PC is hard wired to the router also. Then other devices on the network are using wifi off the orbi satellite that is positioned midway thru the house. Too much cable to do hard wiring on everything so chose this option.
So already twice since last night I've had Orbi drop service.----did everything drop? Just wired devices? Just wireless? What fixed the issue? I only changed the gateway yesterday evening around 7pm. I have no idea why the Orbi is disconnecting from a hard wired internet connection source. Is there some setting that is causing it to drop. Was literally in the other room and suddenly I check and lost connection. Check the router and it is lit up pink indicating no connection. My Verizon gateway was working just fine it was functioning.
I really cannot determine what is going on here and why I keep losing service. It seems there is something causing the Orbi to disconnect from the Verizon. Is there some setting somewhere I need to change or what might be going on? I've posted something similar on Verizon and Microsoft pages in case it might be my PC or Verizon connection. This happening is far from ideal because if I am out of town then I cannot just reset the connection since I have cameras that need accessibility.
What verizon gateway is it?
What firmware is on the orbi and satellites?
Is the verizon gateway in passthrough mode? Or you're in that double nat.
Or is the orbi in access point mode?

As for what dropped it was everything. My wired PC which is hooked right to the Orbi router on my desk which is then linked wired to the Verizon gateway. I first noticed when I was in the other room on my phone then noticed the wifi symbol gone. Check the settings on phone told me no connection. Come into office and Orbi was lit pink which means it had no connection.
What verizon gateway is it? CR200A
What firmware is on the orbi and satellites? v7.2.6.31 which I just updated twice today for someone reason it wanted to do it twice.

Or is the orbi in access point mode? I'm not sure how to check what the Verizon gateway is set at or if I have access to the settings on it. I want to say the pass through mode was something brought up when I originally set up the first one and had a similar issue. Something I probably should have written down or taken note of so I remembered lol. As for what "double nat" means I do not know. How would I determine if Orbi is in access point mode?
