Orbi password for app/admin
I have downloaded the Orbi app to my phone to see the download speeds. The app states that I need password for admin. I don't recall setting that up since I used GeekSquad. I have the netgear user...
Try using the recovery page on the RBR with a PC and web browwser to see if you can gain access to the routers web page and set up a new PW.
Enter in the password incorrectly on the RBRs web page and it will fail, after 3 attempts, it should give you a recovery option to process here.
What is the RBR recovery page?
When the "admin" password is rejected three times in a row, the Password Recovery page comes up automatically.
Works great if the user went through the process of defining the recovery questions during the initial configuration. If Geek Squad did this, there may be no record of those entries (if in fact they did them at all).
Factory Reset and start over is the only recourse.
