I am getting 150 mb download speed from my provider. I am expecting at least 75mb speeds. With my old rbr50 model, I am getting around 35-40 mb. Main issue is lot of variation in speeds in consecutive sppedtest tests. One time, I get above 70 and next I get 30-40. Same place same device, so I dont know whether this upgrade model is really useful to me or not. We have plenty of wifi devices like ring alarm, door bello, phones, ipads and laptops. Apple tv and tivo are hard wired to satellites. My internet provider modem/router wifi is turned off and using orbi in router mode.
our house is 3 stories including basement. Main router and orbi are in first floor libing room. One satellite is. Master bedroom above the living room on the opposite site. Second satellite is in basement on the opposite side of main router. I hope this information will give more clarity to you. Thanks for your kind support.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What mfr and model# wifi devices are you speed testing with?
Are you gettin to spec speeds with a wired PC or laptop connected to the RBR?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
I would try option #2 first.

1. CenturyLink - ActionTek 2000T is the modem/router given to me.
2. I am using iphone xs max and ipad pro 2020 to test wifi speeds.
3. Wireless is diabled on this provider router.
4. Orbi rbr 750 is connected in router mode.
5. I am getting around 130 mb speed when connected to orbi router with ethernet.
6. I have two neighbors and around 6 ssid I can see in my wifi search with 2-3 bars out of 3.
7. I leave 2.4ghz channel to Auto and 5 ghz to 40. I tested different channels for 5 ghz and found 40 is better compared to others.
8. Router and satellites are on different floors and in opposite direction. I guess they are easily 30 feet apart.
9. I am not sure about "configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem".
10. I disabled wifi on modem/router. So I need to connect orbi in AP mode or router mode?

If you want to use the Orbi AX RBR in router mode, this configration is recommended. You might ask your ISP or someone to help you out with this if your not comfortable with this.
10. I disabled wifi on modem/router. So I need to connect orbi in AP mode or router mode? You still have a router in front of the Orbi router which isn't recommended. Try option #2 first to see if this helps any then try AP mode.
Also what connection speed do you see with WiFiSweetspots app loaded on your iphone and iPad while connected to the RBR?
Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

First of all, thank you so much for your support.
1. I updated wifi settings to 40hz only now.
2. Tested speed withwifi sweetspots app. I never used it. This is the first time. Speed is varying from 30 Mbps to 600 Mbps. After intial ups and downs, connection is staying is consistently above 600. I don't understand this, my internet speed is only 150 Mbps.
