What FW version do you have loaded on the RBR and if you can see, RBS?

About two weeks ago, I noticed that one of my satellites was not connected. I did the basic unplug router and satellite and plug back in, and the problem satellite reconnected. A few days later I noticed it was disconnected again. This time, the unplugging option wasn't working. I tried to resync the two devices but only got a magenta light on the satellite. I updated the router and good satellite to the newest firmware and tried everything again with no success.
As a last resort, I removed the problem satellite from the orbi system through the web portal, and reset the satellite (holding down reset until I got an orange power status light). Ive tried a few times to "add new satellite" through both the android app and web portal and it cannot locate the satellite. The satellite just blinks white (currently going on about an hour). It is currently positioned about 10 feet from the router. Any suggestions? If the satellite is defective, would the rbs760 satellite be compatible with my rb750 router? The 760 satellite is available on Amazon.
