Orbi RBK 853 - additional satellites
how can I add new satellites into an existing configuration, if the new satellites were used previously in another network. Although it’s the same type, the existing network doesn’t include them. When...
- I have turned all the satellites off and then connect the new one first. Afterwards I turned on the other ones.
FW the same version on the RBS and what's on the current RBR?
What firmware version is on the current running system?
What model are these RBS? 850 series?
- Yes, they have all the Same firmware: V7.2.6.21
It’s All the Same Series RBK 853.IF all is loaded with same version of FW, then using the RBRs web page to Add Satellite to the system should work. I recommend turning OFF all other currently connected RBS while you get the incoming RBS connected.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?- There were 2 Satellites, 2 additional ones are being planned.
The home is about 2700sq ft .
Two Satellites was okay, to get a good signal in every corner, I want to put in two additional ones.
