orbi rbk 853 satellites
Hello I'd like to know if it's possible to force one satellite to connect to another satellite.
I have a router with 4 satellites connected, 1 wired and the others wireless and the problem is that one satellite connects to the router with poor backhaul having a satellite nearer than the router and it should connect to this satellite.
Obviously daisy chain is activated.
Thanks for your support and excuse me for my English but I'm Italian.
Bye to everyone.
Carlo

There is no method to force satellite or device connections on the Orbi product. One experiment that might work is to wait until the entire system is running and then power that one satellite off and back on again.
When the system powers up, perhaps after a power outage, the router begins broadcasting WiFi before any of the satellites. That satellite may "see" the router WiFi signal before any others, connect to it, and remain connected even after a more power signal appears from a nearby satellite.
If the experiment is successful in getting the satellite to connect to a better signal, you might consider installing small UPS systems so that the Orbi network remains running through short power outages.
