Orbi RBK752 Satellite Question

I have an RBK752 router with one RBS752 satellite. My laptop is positioned just 20ft from the satellite but the wifi signal strength shows only one bar or less on my laptop and the data throughput is less than 2Mbps.The satellite is positioned 50ft from the router and through one internal wall. Surely I should get better signal strength than that? I had better signal strength with my old non-mesh router.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

    When your nearest the RBS, disable the wifi radio on the laptop for 5 seconds then turn it back ON. See if the signal appears better. Check the RBS web page to see if the laptop appears in the connected devices list on the RBS...
