thats the problem with having them on seperate subnets when you're not using a proper vlan setup.
If the IoT device is smart enough it can route through its own web server. But some (many) aren't.
You can always try putting the netgears IP address into the bt home's DMZ. doubt it'll work but it might.
Your other option is to use the netgears guest ssid. Put the IoT devices on the guest network. many people try th at.
