Hi and thanks for the reply, Let's say the system works but not great. Sometimes the satellites that are not so far away, so they connect in 5G backhaul, disconnect and then reconnect, then when it happens that the power goes out and then comes back I still have to restart routers and satellites because it struggles to assign IP addresses. Anyway yes if I enter the orbi app or the router gui it notifies me that there is an update. Overall, however, when it is in operation it works well, the WiFi coverage and speed is excellent. thank you.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
- Mastra11Jul 08, 2021ApprenticeThe modem model of my ISP is the TECHNICOLOR TIM HUB DGA-4132. my house measures 2370ft. The distance between the router and the first satellite is about 20feet, while the distance between the first satellite and the second satellite is about 14feet. I currently use channel 11 for 2.4ghz and 44 for 5ghz. I live in a neighborhood of terraced houses and I have about 5 other wifi networks nearby but they use different wifi channels than mine.

Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktopDistances between RBR and RBS is too close. Also too close between RBS/RBS. 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
What happens if you turn OFF the one 📡 and move the other 📡 out a bit farther from the RBR?
- Mastra11Jul 08, 2021Apprenticebefore i had the orbi rbk23 kit and i have always used this configuration, the wifi on the TIM HUB is off. My house has three floors, the walls and floors are all concrete. There is the router on the first floor, the first satellite on the second floor and the third satellite on the third floor. I have no way to move them. I've always had them in this position.
