I recently installed the Orbi Mesh in my house and almost everything has been flawless. The only problem I am experiencing is with my desktop pc. I have connectivity problems every time on start up and have to run the troubleshooter which comes up with no detected problems. After connecting, disconnecting wifi, running the troubleshooter and pulling my hair out it oddly connects with intermittent connections; it stalls for short periods and disconnects altogether. After running a speedtest I am also only getting less than 40% of total bandwidth; 90 v 240
Funny enough my connection disconnected while typing this message. The wifi connection, although connected, said can't connect to this network and the error message was ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED. Then poof it starts working again....
This is my work computer and essentially the most important piece in the entire house.
* The router is located in the room directly below my desktop pc
* Wifi - Broadcom 802.11ac Network Adapter - latest driver / no conflicts
* Bitdefender Total Security (if this matters at all)
* Spectrum Internet / Modem only; no double NAT
Try going to orbilogin.com, Advanced tab, Advanced...Wireless Settings and set CTS/RTS Threshold to 2347 for both bands. I find this setting maximizes connectivity with older wireless clients.
If that doesn't help, you can also disable AX mode in Advanced...Setup...Wireless Setup but it would be a shame to turn off AX with your fancy new AX router.

I haven't rebooted but making those two changes has greatly improved both my internet speed and response time; it felt sluggish before. I haven't rebooted to see if it also corrected my start up problems but so far so good.......thank you
