Orbi RBK852 - Selection of 5GHz channel 36
New owner of RBK852. According to the app WiFi Explorer the 5GHz channel in use by Orbi is 40, despite being set to 36. I changed it to 48 and it is correctly displayed in WiFi explorer. Set it back ...

First try with the previous firmware version and check if the problem still occurs ,
As it is likely to be a firmware issue, try to return to the previous Firmware , and or upgrade back to newest one .
Also check the realease notes.

Thanks.. It seems this issue will never be escalated. They keep on coming back to me with more questions: did you try different analysers, did you try with another laptop, what are the specs of the laptop,.... it seems they do not even look at this thread!
I will simply stop responding, it is hopeless... what a uselss support

Please do NOT stop responding to NG support questions. If theres responding to you, it means there looking into it and need more information is all. Lets give it to them. You can repeat to them to reivew this forum thread as well as we have others that see the same issue as well as I do. They can contact me as well if needed. I'm in there database. :smileywink:
The more we give feedback the more there apt to look more into this and check it out.
