Orbi RBK852 - Selection of 5GHz channel 36
New owner of RBK852. According to the app WiFi Explorer the 5GHz channel in use by Orbi is 40, despite being set to 36. I changed it to 48 and it is correctly displayed in WiFi explorer. Set it back ...

NG doesn't make it known when fixes are forth coming. User have to be patient. Any one seeing this problem is recommended to contact NG support to let them know.

Case has been escalated to L2 Netgear support. Have just been asked to send a debug_log file after changing from channel 36 to 40 and back to 36. File will be sent to their engineers.

Reply I received today:
"I have just received a reply from our engineers regarding the issue with the change of wiereless channel. They confirmed that they are aware of that and that they are working on it. Soon there will be a new KB article explaining how to solve this problem. At the moment, we do not know exactly when the article will be released."
