Orbi RBK852 -Unable to Reconfigure System (Orbi not found)
Hello,
My setup:
I’m using the Orbi AX6000 Mesh WiFi System (RBK852) – Orbi 850 Series Tri-Band WiFi 6, 2-pack. I also have a Mac and an iPhone.
Since yesterday, my Orbi network no longer broadcasts the custom SSID. Instead, it is broadcasting the factory-default SSID.
When I opened the mobile iOS Orbi app (iOS 18.4), I noticed that my previous configuration had been unexpectedly erased.
I have tried the following methods to reconfigure the system, all without success:
- New system setup via iOS app (iOS 18.4) → FAILED at “Orbi not found” stage
- Setup via Web App → FAILED, as both 10.0.0.1 and orbilogin.com show nothing
- Deleted my Freebox Delta WiFi network → FAILED, still shows “Orbi not found”
- Unplugged the Orbi satellite from power → FAILED, no change
- Tried using a device with iOS 16.x and the mobile app → FAILED, still “Orbi not found”
- Disabled cellular network on the iPhone → FAILED, no improvement
Note: The Freebox SSID and the Orbi SSID have different names (no naming conflict).
Despite all attempts, I keep getting the same message: “Orbi not found” (see screenshot attached).
If you have any advice, suggestions, or ideas on how to resolve this issue, I would greatly appreciate your help.
Best regards,
I did reset a second time and it is OK. Thank you all. SOLVED.

Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

You have a Freebox device that is also a router?
Two routers on a network are bad news:

Can you access the Orbi from a web browser and the graphical user interface (GUI)?
Just another user with time on their hands.
