Orbi rbk852 connected Clients not listed in Network Tab

I received my 852 set today and immediately started, updates loaded etc and started, before still set to factory settings. Now it is so that 5ghz clients on the 1st floor do not connect to the satellite on the 1st floor which also gets 5ghz, but with the router on the ground floor.
Has nothing to do with mesh...

the next is the connected devices that also have internet, are often not displayed.

am now first rather disappointed. The set is connected to a Speedport Smart 4 which runs as a modem and WLan is disabled in this device.

  •  I could figure out for myself that the problem with the non visible clients are with access point mode. in router mode all was there... what should I do? is it a bad idea to use the orbi as a router?

If the Orbi was in Access Point mode and devices could connect, then the Speedport Smart 4 must have been in router mode because there must be at least one router.

There are specific applications that do not work if there are two routers:    Forwarding connections from the internet to specific ports on home servers, certain internet gaming activities, connecting to the router from the internet, etc. (Search for "Double NAT")  People who do not use these applications will not even be aware that they have two routers.  People who run into problems that are affected by a Double NAT very quickly become aware of it and must decide how to resolve it.

Access Point mode means that the Orbi cannot provide Bitdefender Armor, Smart Parental Controls, or many other "router things".

Once again, if you are happy with the performance, the Orbi can be in either mode.

Ok thank you very much. I tried Smart 4 as a router and orbi Access Point But there is the Problem again. Not all Clients in the List. But with Orbi as router i have no Security i think?
