Orbi RBK852 unstable speeds
I've had my RBK852 setup for ~18 months running wifi from a google fiber router with 1 gig service. Speeds have been solid throughout the house with a ping of <5 ms and typical upload / download of 4...

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
Is or has Armor or Smart Parental Controls been enabled at all?
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
What PING results do you see with a wired PC and Ooklas installable speed test app?

What Firmware version is currently loaded? Currently on V4.6.14.3
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? GFLT132

All has been normal until earlier this week. Have done multiple reboots following the steps outlined above and comes back with same 'lower' and 'unstable' speed each time. When wired to fiber modem, ping is 1 ms and speeds are >1 gig up and down.

Still happen with RBS turned OFF as well?
IF you haven't changed anything then not sure if it's a Orbi issue.

Yep, power off has been performed for the 1 min on both orbi and the fiber modem.
hardwired to the fiber modem with Ooklash speed test delivers 1 ms ping and >1 gig up / down. Over wifi speeds vary dramatically but the real problem is the ping latency... >200 ms at times and causing havoc on all wifi devices.
Very odd given all worked flawlessly until a week ago. Given speed at the fiber modem not sure what else it could be but the orbi network.

You might turn OFF all wifi devices and test with just one or two PCs connected to check latancy. Some of this could be coming from someting on your netowrk. Or instead of turning things OFF, Turn OFF The RBS, Then change the SSID name temporarily to something else. Then run some tests with just the RBR alone and a wired and one wireless phone or pad.
