Orbi RBR 350 not connecting to internet
Hi
This has been working fine for over a year, and then it stopped, although some devices using it kept getting internet and some did not.
No luck getting internet connecting again. power off/reset. Used an old Spark modem no problem at all.
The app kept on trying to start from new but got no where.
I've done some research and it seems I need to update firmware. But the instructions say to go to orbilogin.com and enter admin etc. But there is no where to do that on that page. Tried http://192.168.1.1/ but not luck there either.
So I end up in a loop. To fix the internet connection problem I have to download firmware. But to download firwmware I need internet.
Does this have to do with neededing a PPPoe username and password from my ISP?

Having internet (or not) has nothing to do with specific firmware release. Either the router can connect to the internet, or it cannot.
As a first step, I would attempt to connect to the web interface of the RBR350 router. We "old fuddies" prefer a computer/laptop that is 'wired' to the router. Alas, it has become common for user to have no device that includes an Ethernet adapter, so a WiFi connection is the only remaining option.
When a web browser attempts to open http://orbilogin.net , it is supposed to be directed to the Orbi router (RBR350).
Does this not happen?
What kind of reset was done? If the Reset button (inside that tiny hole in the case) was held until the power LED turned amber and began to blink, that was a Factory Reset and any user configuration has been erased. In that case, "Start from New" is correct. The router needs to be configured.
