I have this router, and it keeps droping all the wifi items on the main wifi, even on the iot network. called netgear they do not know what to do.  also the router has the dhcp renewing the ip addr...

Long shot, but easy enough to try.  I had as similar issue that involved IPv6 re-upping often and causing disconnects.  Turning off IPv6 helped.  You might try that temporarily to see if it makes a difference.
