Orbi rbr350 causing my modem to dropout

Hi I have all of a sudden run into a problem  Orbi keeps making my modem drop internet connection constantly I have the Orbi set up in ap mode As soon as I disconnect the Orbi my modem stops drop...

As FURRYe38 mentioned, it would be helpful to know:

  • Which specific Internet Service Provider (ISP) device the Orbi is connected to.
    My guess is that it is not technically a "modem", but is a combination modem/router/WiFi device.
    (If it actually is "only a modem", then the Orbi cannot be in Access Point (AP) mode.)
  • Information about how the network is configured.
    How many user devices are connected to the ISP device?  (Only the Orbi? or more things?)
    Are there any switches used to connect things?
  • Was this system working for some period and has recently failed?
