Orbi RBR350 FTP - Not Internet accessible

Hi Folks,
I'm trying to configure an FTP Filezilla server running on a Windows 11 computer.
I am able to connect fine to it via Filezilla Client on the local network 192.168.1.50
I have configured Port Forwarding in the modem/router to use TCP ports 21-22, 990, 49152-65534.
What am I missing here please?
Many thanks in advance for any assistance provided.

  • Ha! It turns out that my ISP was blocking FTP ... bugger! 😄
    I can connect now perfectly.
    Thanks again for your help.

The key to making any LAN resource available from the internet is for the Orbi router WAN port to have a public IP address.  Open one of the "what is my IP?" web sites and compare the IP address that it reports with the IP address shown in the Orbi web interface, Advanced Tab home page: Internet Port.  If they are different, that is a problem.

Thanks CrimpOn for your help on this - much appreciated!
I checked my public IP address and all seems fine. (I can ping the router successfully from an external device.)
As I'm having no luck configuring this, I'm just going to check with my ISP that there isn't something at their end causing me problems. They provided the modem too so they may have come across this problem before.
I will also work my way through the possible problems from the Filezilla page.
