ORBI RBR750 / RBS350 satellites - very slow

For that size of home, the RBR and just 1 RBS should be enough.
Can you turn OFF one RBS and test with just 1 RBS out at 30 feet.
15 feet between units is too close. 30 feet starting distance.
NG may not be pushing FW updates. So you can manually update later on if needed:
I have moved our a number of our clients to the ISP wifi/router, and notably the ip stream devices are tremendously better. Same with local client testing.
I then shut off the main floor satellite, and left my gaming console on the orbi network (basement). Haven't use it as of yet, but next 1-2 days i will see if the congestion is better.
I assume it will be better with the suggestion of removing one of the rbs350 as well as effectively splitting the overall traffic load now between two separate access/networks. At least up to the ISP gateway where it all aggregates.
If game tests out better with one less rbs350 and load moved off the orbi network, may leave in two separate domains to be honest.
If it doesn't perform better, move it all and shut down the orbi.
But hopefully its better, and would be nice to split some of the client types between the networks.
Thanks for the feedback on the placements of the orbi's. I'm hoping that testing confirms this improvement later on..
(btw - the reason for two 350's was they came in the package i purchased, and i wired the ip stream devices to each, and used the 5Ghz backhaul to attempt to make things optimal, by eliminating the wireless access portions via the ip stream devices . I guess would have worked if distances were larger).
RBS can be ethernet connected.
The wireless BH can't be access at all, it's only for wireless BH between the RBS and RBR.
Yes, I wasn't using the 5Ghz, oinly for backhaul to the rbr750.
I meant, I was using ethernet wired access for my major clients to the rbs350, and eliminated using the 2.4ghz access from the equation.
But anyhow, reducing the one rbs350 seemed to help.Ok. Understand.
