Orbi RBR750 (+2 satellites) and Fidium Internet
We recently switched internet services (from XFinity to Fidium). XFinity is DHCP and Fidium is PPPoE. All worked great except for my wife's work laptop and it's VPN. Orbi was connected directly to...

Can I remove the Fidium extenders and somehow use the Orbi as extenders?
Certainly. The Orbi router can be connected to the Fidium router with an Ethernet cable. You have two choices:
- Use the Orbi as a router and recognize that there are some specific applications that will not be convenient to use because that results in a "Double NAT".
- Put the Orbi into Access Point (AP) mode, where the Fidium router controls all "router type functions" and all the Orbi does is provide a mesh WiFi.
- mdjaskolkaJul 02, 2022AspirantI have attached the Orbi to the Fidium router but cannot log in to it. I am assuming I may have to do a factory reset. Can I assume that once I am able to log in to it again that setting it as an access point is in one of the menus? Thank you for the information.

Thank you for the information.A factory reset will not be an undue burden because in Access Point mode the only items you will need to set are the WiFi SSID/password and the admin password.
Router / AP mode is on the Advanced Tab, Advanced Settings menu (at the bottom). Open that and Router / AP mode will show up.

Have done a factory reset and taken through one power cycle.
Orbi is connected to Fidium router via cable from Fidium router WAN port to Orbi Internet port.
Orbi blinks white light then goes to solid purple light.
Unable to log in to any Orbi router page to change to access point.
Have tried orbilogin.com, orbilogin.net, 192.168.1.1 and 10.0.0.1.

Try:
- Checking the connection
- Checking the proxy and the firewall
- Running Windows Network Diagnostics
