Be sure the wifi adapter drivers are updated on the laptop from the adpaters mfr support site.
I would remove any prior wifi profiles from the laptops networking, then try to sign on to the Orbi wifi network.

Filled out Network name, Security type WPA2-Personal AES, Security Key information, and connect automatically. Received reply " Couldn't add the new nework". Is this an issue with security settings on the PC not allowing access to add a new network or is there a conflict with reusing the same SSID/security key and this PC was.not available when this change occurred?

This may be a situation like what we've seen where some devices don't like mesh systems for they need to see the 2.4 ...?
