Orbi RBR750 DHCP lease renewal

Just purchased this $500 router from Costco, plugged it into our City fiber. Every 2 hours it turns off and red amber light emits. I called the IP city, they said the signal is good it's the router. They've had hundred of these calls and the Orbi Router has a bug and it's not auto lease renewing the DHCP.  The city recommended returning it back to Costco and buying a different router. They have only had this problem with the Orbi router. I've searched online and appears I'm not the only one having this problem. But unsure what to do about it. I've tried calling in w/o any luck.
