The Orbi router includes a DHCP server and a DNS server.  Every device that connects to the Orbi system, either using an Ethernet cable or using WiFi, issues a DHCP request and the Orbi router responds with these parameters:

    • An IP address on the LAN for the device to use
    • A subnet mask for the LAN (255.255.255.0)
    • The IP address of the 'gateway' to reach devices which are not on the LAN (which is the LAN IP address of the Orbi router)
    • The IP address to use when using the DNS process to resolve URLs into IP addresses.

    This is all automatic.

If the goal is to bring up the Orbi web administration site, open a web browser to either:

    • The LAN IP address of the Orbi router, which is usually 192.168.1.1 (but can be other values in special circumstances), or
    • A pseudo URL which the Orbi DNS process resolves to the LAN IP of the router.  There are several of these URLs, including orbilogin.com and orbilogin.net

Perhaps it would be helpful to have more explanation of how the process is failing.
