Orbi RBR760

i have an RBR760 and 3 satellites- when i move from one side of the house to the other, say the bedroom, i seem to not be able to web to one satellite - the one with my proxmox server running my Home Assistant vm.  I can get to the router and 2 of the three satellites fine.  If i turn wifi off or go in airplane mode, it seems to fix it.  I’ve tried reset the satellite in question but it still persists.  i am using an ipad so to test his.  I’ve not tried my phone or some other device.  Maybe i should, but this seems weird to me.  I’ve lowered the power on the Router and also hardcoded DNS on my ipad as i use pihole for DNS thinking maybe pihole is the issue.  

i suppose I could swap satellites around and see it is a satellite issue as well.  Has anyone else experienced issues while roaming?
