orbi rbr860 firmware 7.2.8.5 img file is missing from Dec 2025 security release update file

Having unzipped it, I noted there were only 2 files in the zip, which I thought was odd. (release notes and .chk file).
Not unusual - if you download the older 7.2.8.2 firmware, you'll also only see release notes and a .chk file.
I tried uploading the .chk file to the satellites
The satellite firmware is not the same as the router firmware - you need to download that from here:
You do need to extract the .chk file from the zip before uploading.
You could of course also use the check-for-updates feature in the web ui.
