Orbi RBS850 Wired Satellites Not Showing On Router Webpage As Connected

The router requires TWO connections because of how the backhaul signals are routed. The WAN connection you have to use, makes the Internet available but the backhauls need to come in one of the other ports (preferably the 2.5Gbe).
This tripped me up at first too, but after someone kindly pointed this out, all was and continues to be good.

The router definitely has two connections the WAN side which is actually hitting my lan getting a DHCP address from my ATT router and then of course puts off its own Wifi via AP Mode also landing clients on the same 192.168.1.x subnet.
What I learned today is as follows. I think its odd but things are working normally.
If I take a satellite and unplug any wired ethernet and power it up near the router it will blink white then turn blue and the satellite appears normally in the orbi app. If I move the satellite to its desired location and power it up with no wired ethernet I get no blue light BUT it does have an IP address, show up in orbi and functions as a working satellite.
BUT as soon as I plug in wired ethernet the AP gets a new IP and continues to function as a working AP BUT no longer is seen as a connected satellite in the Orbi app or from the router web page.
If you go to the web page of each wired satellite it does show connected to the router.
So I think it seems that if you wire in your satellite you can expect the orbi app to act like you have no satellites even though they are up and working and servicing connections. You appear to lose the ability to view those connections centrally and have to visit the web page of each satellite.
How do you have the satellites hardwired in?
It should go att gateway--->RBR--->RBS's
They wired backhauls for the satellites need to connect to the rbr's lan port. Not through its wan port or the att gateway.
And the bluelight only stays on for a short period. If its connects fine, it usually shuts back off.
Thanks its ATTRouter - Lan Port Orbi Router - Satellite 1 and 2 lan port to same wired network. Everything functionally is working great, just the odd behavior of the orbi app and router web page reporting 0 satellites connected. But if you logon to each satellite web page it shows they are successfully connected and you can see all the connected devices. If you remove the ethernet cables then the satellite syncs with blue light and orbi app and router shows connected satellites. Functionality of the product is great just that weirdness with reporting the satellites. I opened a case just to get an explanation or possible future firmware fix. Ideally the orbi app would show satellites connected whether using wifi or wired. latest firmware in place on all devices
