Orbi satellite randomly playing "we wish you a merry Christmas"

Question

Hi all, strange issue.&nbsp; Randomly, maybe twice a day one of my satellites plays a digital style "We wish you a merry Christmas", just the tones, very annoying like an old style atari game.&nbsp; It plays for about 2 minutes then stops.&nbsp; Only the one satellite does it....&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Any ideas?&nbsp; Virus?&nbsp; I dont even know why it would have a speaker.....&nbsp;Thanks!&nbsp;

You are correct. There is not a speaker in either the RBR750 or RBS750.

More likely it is some other device in the same room as the Orbi.

I thought the same thing when my kid was complaining about it and I didnt belive him, but it did it when I was in the room the other day, and it sure sounds like its from inside the router when you hold your ear to it.&nbsp; It sounds like the kind of sound you would get from a motherboard speaker, just different pitched soft beeps to the tune of we wish you a merry Christmas.&nbsp; &nbsp;And it stopped when I unplugged the router......&nbsp; Very odd...

Try a factory reset on the satellite.&nbsp;

You may want to try to update the Orbi system as well.&nbsp;
