Orbi to iAquaLink pool system

I did the same thing, and that was the only way I could get it to work is with a TP Link range extender set up as access point which then hard wires back to my Orbi. Question: I see Orbe has an IOT network that can be set up, has anyone tried this for iAqua Link? I would actually like my range extender to be the same SSID as the inside the house Orbi network, but can't with iAqua link to function correctly.  thoughts? (I do realize this is a very old post, but checking anyways. Thanks!
