Thanks for the reply. But at this time, I'm giving up. I have read everything on ATT's site and Netgear's site about Orbi systems and the ATT Pace gateway. People have been having problems with the Pace gateway and external routers for a long time. It's the problem of no real IP pass through on the Pace gateway. I haven't been able to convince ATT to send me a different gateway for the fiber optic so I'm at a stand still. There probably was something not quite right with the new Orbi AX6000 also. The red blinking light that I was referring to was on the gateway ethernet port that I plugged the Orbi into. Anyway, I have decided to return the Orbi. Will fight some more with ATT for a different gateway and maybe start this all over again. Thanks again for your input.

Yes, even on the Orbi AC forum, i see lots of users with problems with ATT gateway modems. Why ATT is being so bad about this, no idea why. Most users can get Orib working with AP mode on the Orbi. Some modems have the DMZ or pass thru feature, I guess some do not which tells me ATT maybe claming down or limiting what users can connect to there modem gateway.
Any chance there is a different ISP besides ATT? Sorry for you if there isn't.
