Orbi Wifi6 ethernet connected desktop and wireless connections seem to be 2 different networks

AX4200 Orbi Wifi6 installed yesterday.  Desktop is connected to base Orbi by ethernet cable. Everything else wireless. Renamed network during customization step in setup.Desktop and wireless are on 2 different networks. Can't find desktop from wireless laptops.  How to fix?

  • I suspect you have another wireless router in your system.  To determine, we need a little more info.  What is the Orbi plugged into (specific make/model).  What mode is Orbi in? (Router or AP?)

Orbi wifi6 AX4200 connected by ethernet cable to Netgear CM1100 modem.  I renamed the SSID during initial setup of the router.  When desktop is connected to the router by ethernet cable, it displays the original SSID network name that came with the router.  All devices that connect wirelessly display the new network SSID name.  There are no other wireless routers in the house - we disconnected the Xfinity gateway when we set up the new modem.  When the desktop is connected wirelessly to the router, it does not show up to other devices.

        Reboot the  PC?

Clear all browser caches on the PC?

Remove any prior wireless network profiles then re-scan for wireless netowrks?

Ensure the PCs networing adapters are up to date on drivers.
