ORBI

I have the new Orbi (RBK850) and have almost 60 devices on my network; mix of wired and wireless.  I have one particular device for which I want to block from accessing the (external) Internet. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks!

  • I don't believe Orbi offers disabling of internet access per device. You can block the device from connect to the Orbi system using access controls.

  • Yes you can do that using access control. See attached snapshot from the Orbi app.

  • Hi,

I have model RBR750 wifi 6 Orbi (drop down above for model won't let me add my correct model name) and tho my access control panel states that I have blocked the device I want blocked, it still has full access to the internet.

    Thoughts?

Changing the device name and icon is a known issue in the latest firmware.
For access, try to disable access control (the main access control, not the device-specific) and then enable it again and see if that helps.
