Is this from using the Orbi Speed Test feature on the Orbi 'app' or the Orbi web interface to validate the Internet Service Provider performance?
WiFi speed is a function of "so many things"
- Device being used to measure speed
- Distance from device to the Orbi unit (or WiFi extender) is is connected to
- Load on the WiFi channel at the time of the test
- What else is using the network and the internet connection at the time. (One user posted complaining about slow internet and then mentioned, "oh, I am uploading 100GB of data to cloud storage.")
This unexpected situation certainly is not what one would expect.
Nothin his declaring and I’m right next I the Router. The speed is using speed test from multiple websites. It has insistently been 550M before the upgrade. Thezirbi App shows 950M connection to the Internet.
