Orbi/Satellite vs Nighthawk/Extender for gaming
Happy holidays! I posted a previous thread on the Nighthawk community, and am looking for more insight from the Orbi community. I’m looking to cover 2700 sqft of home, and thinking of switching from X...

That’s makes sense. How much distance is advised from each satellite? I have not found a clear answer on that. I’m looking at about 40 ft distance between downstairs and upstairs.
30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

- After setting up the Orbi RBK752 upstairs x 1 satellite downstairs, I have thus far been satisfied with the expanded coverage. Also switched out CAT5s for CAT6s. I ran a network test on my Xbox 10X that is directly linked to the satellite, and got satisfactory speeds DL 240 mbps with zero pocket loss and 46 ms of latency. Eventually, I’ll try to setup the actual router and hardwire for CPU setup. Thanks for the help!
