Thank you for the reply. When i got into the orbi advanced interface there is no way to disable QOS all that is there is a speedtest. Maybe a bad firmware upgrade?

No way to disable other than a factory reset and do not run a speed test in the web gui or Orbi app.

Ok did that. No speed test. No difference. Also turned off WMM for 2.4 and 5 Ghz off and no difference. Turned off all other wifi devices except my laptop and desktop and no difference. Im stumped.
- KMDonlonMar 08, 2020VirtuosoStrange indeed, have you tried different WiFi channels?
Hopefully someone else will have other thoughts on the subject. - FURRYe38Mar 09, 2020Guru - Experienced User
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-routerWhat channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?WMM needs to be enabled always. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Disable IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).
Use WiFi Sweet Spots on your phone to see what the connection rate is between the phone and RBR. Leave the RBS off for now.

Thanks for the reply. Firmware 3.2.10.11_1.2.12. Modem FIOS-G1100. Home Size 2100 SQ FT. Distance is 28 ft.. 2.4 Is on Channel 11 now. Not sure on Neighbors i know of one guy next door. WMM is on. IPv6 is disabled. All i can do with the 40 MHz is disable the 20/40Mhz Coexistence. Dont see a way to Change it to 40MHz. So that Firmare is new and i did not choose to update to it but now all i get is random disconnects and i dont see the Firmware on their wbsite. Thats Kind of odd. No changes in download speed. The RBR 852 Should be more that enough for my house size. Dont think that is the problem.
