All three, and they are all on 2.5Gb switches. Only one has a ghost. It was bought later to add on to the system.
What a fascinating saga. When Orbi packages are assembled at the factory, satellites are paired with the router so that the system can be taken "out of the box", connected to electricity, and immediately function as a networked system. A satellite purchased separately obviously has to be added to the system. I always add new satellites using the web interface menu item, "Add Orbi Satellite" (bottom menu item). The Orbi 'app' has a similar feature, although I have never used it.
- How was this third satellite added to the system? (web or app?)
- I always set up a new satellite in the same location as the router (huffing up and down stairs gets old quickly) using the WiFi connection. Validating that the satellite will switch to Ethernet connection comes next. Then, the last step is to move it to the desired location, which establishes that the in-house wiring is working correctly. (one step at a time)
How was this satellite joined to the system?

I added it with the app. I have to run out for the evening, but I think i will do a reset on it tomorrow and try adding it back in the way you did.
