Note for those with RBS-50s attached via ethernet!
If you have any hardwired RBS-50's attached to your RBR 850, you must power them off before any firmware update attempts will be successful.
Once firmware update is complete and rebooted; Repower yoiur RBS50s.

Thanks for this tip! My Orbi AX offered to upgrade to this new firmware version and I did it this morning, shutting down my RBR50 during the upgrade.

I think this is a great idea and will help with compatibilty. I turned off AX for my older 2.4Ghz devices but can keep it on for my fancy new 5Ghz devices.
