RBK752 - what wi-fi plugs actually work with orbi (since there is no way to get 2.4 gHz)

thanks for the quick response - i have tried at least three different brands now (latest being Govee) - i just cannot get the apps to recognize it as 2.4 (keeps warning me that its a 5 GHz connection, and that i need to change)

I recommend making sure your phone is on 2.4ghz during setup.
there's 2 ways you can do this.
1. go into the orbi and turn down its broadcast power and shut off the satelliles. Then walk as far away as you can get and turn the phones wifi off then back on. Hopefully it connects to the 2.4ghz.
2. cheat and setup a phone 2.4 ghz hot spot with the exact same ssid/password as your router. Shut off the router (and satellites) and turn on the phones hotspot. Then go through setup. once setup turn off the hotspot and turn the router back on.
