What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Firmware on Orbi 4.6.5.14 on the RBR and 3x RBS
ISP is Cox, it is a Cox Panoramic Gateway Modem and Router. There are not other markings of note on the ISP modem and I cannot see anything in the Cox app since I moved to bridge mode. RBR is wired into this modem. I have a netgear hub connected to the RBR that runs a few home automation hubs (lutron, hue).
House is about 5500 sqft with 3 floors. I have one RBS on each floor and the RBR on the 1st floor on opposite side of house from 1st floor RBS. More than 30 feet between all units. I don't think placement of RBS are the issue since it is only after a power outage.
This past time I ended up fully resetting the Cox Modem and Router and moving it into bridge mode. I also have a UPS for the ISP modem/router combo and the Orbi RBS although that has not seemed to help previously. Previously if I waited a day or so sometimes it would just resolve. The weird part was if I changed the SSID on the RBR I could connect devices to RBR under the new SSID and access internet. Also, during the time internal network was working because I could still control home automation devices that didn't require internet.

You could try the modem in router mode with the RBR in router mode. Disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
If this doesn't change anything you might update the orbi FW:
- HelpMeJesusApr 15, 2022AspirantThanks. I did switch Cox to pass through only and have updated fw. I am wondering if I still need to look at assignment of IPs or if the move to allow only the RBR to do it via pass through makes that unnecessary. I had seen another older post where somebody had an issue post power outage that looked to be the result of devices not dropping original IPs And creating conflicts that was preventing the RBR from connecting to internet.
System has been relatively stable but there’s also been no power outages so just trying to figure out if I can save myself some headaches by looking at static IPsway without creating any additional problems.
