RBK850 / AX6000 compatibility with RBS50v2

I recently upgraded my Mesh WIFI system to the Orbi AX6000 router with 2 AX600 satellites.  I have 2 Orbi RBS50v2 satellites left over from my prior setup.  Are the RBS50v2 compatible with the RBR850 router (I have some weak spots in my house where I would like to add 2 additional satellites). If it matters, I have ATT Fiber internet with a BGW210-700 modem. Thanks!

  • They aren't. And i'm not sure if there's any intention of adding support for them.

  • You can ethernet connect RBS 50 series to Orbi AX is all you can do.

I used my RBS50's (two of them) in a wired backhaul config for more than a year with my RBR850 and 1 x RBS850 and they worked pretty well together.

I just recently replaced them with RBS850s (for a total of three satellites -- All 850s now) and the system is working flawlessly.  I passed those satellites on to a friend with an RBR50, so it was a win-win all the way around.
