Yes, you can use Mixed mode. Just be aware that some older devices that don't support WPA3 may not like it with WPA3 being on the signal while in mixed mode even though WPA2 is there as well. If they won't connect, try WPA2 only to test this.

I've got WPA2/WPA3 Mixed set up for my primary Wi-Fi and every device connects just fine except for one, that being my Samsung Q90T TV which is only 4yrs old. It rejects the mixed network. Had to connect it to the IoT network where I only have WPA2 enabled. Pretty sad that Samsung is so behind on the times. No matter, all is good at this point. I'll research my remaining WPA3 security questions here or elsewhere to get a better understanding of WPA2/WPA3 and threat protection. Thanks again FURRYe38 ... much appreciated.
Ya that should connect however could be something on the TV side. Ask Samsung about this. Check for any FW updates for the TV.

Firmware is up to date on the TV ... and there are other posts on the web regarding the same issue with the brand. Samsung is just slow to get this right so it stays on the WPA2-only IoT network which is fine, love the TV though : )
