Rbk852 has never been able to check for updates automatically
I have updated the firmware manually every time and am currently on the latest. I’ve owned it for about a year. Please someone help me figure out how to update it with the iPhone app. So I’ve been thr...
- The solution is that Netgear has no reason to fix the automatic process as everyone just keeps telling people to needlessly upgrade it manually.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
It's recommended to avoid using the Orbi app to update FW. Use the RBRs FW update web page or manually update using downloaded files.
