Please provide the brand and model# of the ISP modem or ONT that the RBR is connected too as well.

And we still don't know the brand and model # of the ISP modem/ONT.
Sounds like there is already a router here that can effect good operation with any external router connected to it.
IF your not happy then get it back to the place of purchase.
