RBK852 Satellite "Outbound" Ethernet Connection
Trying to understand if I can have a wireless satellite that I can then plug my laptop into via ethernet cable and have the laptop use wired rather than wireless internet. Thanks!
Not expecting the laptop to get "wired" speed equivalent to plugging it into the main router. My issue is that my laptop doesn't handle wifi well. So if my wireless satellite can get 500 Mbps, tying to figure out if I can get something close to 500 Mpbs by plugging my laptop into that wireless satellite. My laptop using wifi near the wireless satellite only gets something like 200 Mpbs.

Of course. You can plug most any LAN wired devices in to the back of the RBS and get internet services thru the RBS while it's wireless connected to the RBR.

Just curios (inquisitive mind) - what do you do with your laptop where you NEED 500mbps? I'm not arguing against it, just curious what one does with that much speed on a laptop.
